UV Coil Treatment in Woodstock, GA
A UV lamp aimed at the evaporator coil keeps biological growth off the wet surface inside your air handler. It is a small, quiet piece of equipment whose entire job is to keep the coil from becoming the thing that makes your house smell like a basement.
We fit them during tune-ups and installs, and we are deliberately narrow about what we claim for them.

Questions people ask before booking
Does it need maintenance?
The lamp is an annual or biennial replacement depending on the type. Output falls well before the lamp stops glowing, so a lamp that still looks lit is not evidence it is still working. We date the cabinet.
Can it be added during another visit?
Yes, and an install or a coil cleaning is the right moment — the panel is already off and the coil is at its cleanest, which is the condition the lamp is good at maintaining.
What does it not do?
It is a coil treatment. It is not an air-sterilization system, it does not treat the air passing through in the fraction of a second it is in front of the lamp, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. If your goal is particulate and allergens, that is a filtration conversation, not a UV one.
